This might be my headcanon, but I’m pretty sure I heard that Nomura said this himself, but…
Remember how DiZ (aka Ansem the Wise) responded to Roxas telling him how much he hated him?

Roxas: I hate you so much. DiZ: You should share some of that hatred with Sora. He’s far too nice for his own good.

That’s exactly what Roxas did, intentionally or not. Because Roxas hadn’t peacefully merged with Sora (that’s what he does near the end of the game like Kairi does with Naminé), he effectively put Sora’s personality into a blender with his own. Sora still acts fairly goofy (especially in Disney-verses, such as his childlike joy over getting to meet Santa Claus); but as far as the Organization is concerned, Sora’s own sense of justice is magnified by Roxas’ righteous fury. That’s exactly why the Organization members often refer to Sora as Roxas (and sometimes even flip-flop between the two); they can sense their traitorous comrade and the influence he has on Sora’s actions.

Natalie Fletcher (b.1985)

Texas born Oregon based artist Natalie Fletcher creates amazing landscape body art. After graduated from a painting school in Ashland, Natalie came across an ad for a body painter that she applied. After that job, she realized how much she loved the intereactions and the excitement of painting a human. Natalie’s risk lead her to finding a passion, and this is just the beginning.

in 11th grade art we had to make mythical creatures with clay but i didn’t want to do that so i made a log and added a lil worm friend on top of it but my teacher got mad and said i had to make it mythical so i added a horn to it and made it a uniworm

this is why art classes in schools suck. That is a bloody amazing log. look at the texture, the colour. The worm is incredible and the teacher is unhappy because it was supposed to be mythical? Who the fuck cares? will the teacher have their pay docked if a student makes a logworm instead of a basilisk???

This furthers the argument that school is about following instructions, not learning. That really is a great sculpture, by the way.

this is why i ended up hating art, my teacher would try and tell me what to do but i just told her i was doing it my way or itd just be the same as everyone elses

Jesus christ, what a load of bullshit.
Art class is no different from any other class you are taking. Art class is not “Let’s sit down and create anything I want.” In History, you are given a task, you follow it, you get graded. Art is no different. It isn’t playtime. It is a practical lesson but you still follow the task you are given.
Traditional education is about following a curriculum. You don’t just pick-and-choose when you’re given a task. If you want to create something unique, do it in your free time. I could bang out a pretty good essay on cartoons but that won’t get me a grade.
Right now, I am in art school and my current project requires me to draw a lot of scientific birds, plants and animals. If I handed in my own work - which was fantastic, beautifully drawn and absolutely marvelous - but completely irrelevant to what my task is, I would fail and probably get kicked off my course.
Next time, before you feel like flunking in art class, try and remember that you are IN SCHOOL and you can create and develop your own work in your free time.

I present the most badass gifset on Tumblr.

Legitimately turned on by this

This is the best thing.

Oh my god

I don’t even know this fandom and this is cool.

Reason #999 why the cartoon will always be ONE MILLION PERCENT better than that travesty of a movie. They did so much research and put so much detail in you don’t even notice.

Bonus trivia: Toph got a unique martial arts style to match her distinct version of Earthbending (Southern Praying Mantis style, I think) which the creators found out later was (according to legend) invented by a blind woman. Totally a coincidence, but still so *** cool.

(If you don’t watch the show, Toph is both blind from birth and the best *** Earthbender in the world. Also, GO WATCH THE SHOW.)

THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING. I DID NOT WATCH IT FOR A LONG TIME BUT WHEN I DID I WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY. ART. IT WAS ART.
